A Helping Hand for Christchurch

‘The difference between a helping hand and an outstretched palm is a twist of the wrist…’ Laurence Learner, Author, King of the Night.

In times of dire need every little gesture counts, as Christchurch residents are now realising following the earthquake that demolished their city centre. The outpouring of goodwill from all parts of New Zealand as well as the world has been heartwarming and inspiring. The latest gesture has literally ‘turned on a tap’ of support for Canterbury residents in the form of mobile shower units provided by Kohler New Zealand Limited, bringing long-awaited hot showers to residents in Canterbury from March 7.

USANA Health Sciences is one of the sponsors of the showering products, donating over 2000 Sensé body care packs with more to arrive shortly. USANA has also donated 500 Nutrition bars to the Salvation Army ground crew to support their relief efforts.

To further aid relief efforts, when Associates and Preferred Customers place an order from any country where USANA is based, they can select New Zealand Earthquake Relief under the ‘other charitable donations’ tab in the shopping cart and make a contribution - USANA will forward all funds collected to registered charities. (These contributions are not tax deductible).
